<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/ngL2sC9pTOY?rel=0&controls=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>The pedal is metal construction with pots for Level, Tone and Drive.  You don’t need to treat this pedal gently, even its ancestors are still going strong. One of this pedals distinguishing features is the sickly green color, it’s one aspect of the pedal that the imitations tend to avoid.

The Ibanez Tubsescreamer accentuates the frequencies between bass and treble giving the much sought after ‘mid-hump’. As with most overdrive pedals it can be used as a clean boost as well as for drive, coloring the signal as it passes through the pedal so check out the video at the bottom of this post to see if it’s the right sound for you.
